Electronic Documents

As permitted by law, you will receive or access all your insurance documents electronically.  By obtaining a quote for insurance or by purchasing an insurance policy, you agree to receive and access your documents electronically.  There may be some insurance documents that we cannot deliver electronically due to legal or other constraints.  These documents will be delivered to you via post to the postal address appearing on our records.

It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your email address.  It is also your responsibility to keep your email account active and capable of receiving new emails.  Ensure that your email account has sufficient space for new emails and that your email server and spam blocking software do not block our emails.  We are not responsible for problems arising from emails sent to an inactive or out-of-date email account, unless we are solely negligent for using an incorrect email address.

Online Customer Portal

We provide you access to an online portal when you purchase a policy.  Within the portal, you may update your policy details, lodge a claim and view your policy documents.  You must not provide your login credentials to another person or allow another person to use your login credentials.  You must not use the online portal to access or modify the details of another person’s insurance policy without their express consent.  Notify us immediately if you believe unauthorised access has occurred or may occur.  We are not liable for any unauthorised access to your personal information that is not the direct result of negligence or intentional misconduct on our part.

Any information provided to us via the online portal will be taken as information provided by you.  Without further input from you, all confirmed online portal transactions will be processed.
